The Easter holidays at the Kattegatcentre offer exciting activities, a Danish sensation, and plenty of Easter fun!

We welcome you to an Easter holiday filled with Easter fun! Draw your own Easter egg and watch it hatch in the Easter season's big new feature, the Egg-celerator 8500. Also experience the sharks' Easter lunch, and hear all about the penguins' Easter love and the stone drama.

During the Easter holidays, you will also have the opportunity to be among the very first to experience a true Danish sensation! An impressive male gray seal weighing over 200 kg has moved in with the female gray seal, Tulle. This makes the Kattegatcentre the only aquarium in Denmark where you can get up close to a male gray seal – and even see a male and female together.

11:15 - 15:00: NEW: Egg-celerator 8500! Draw, scan, and hatch your very own digital Easter egg!

12:00: Wild About Penguins – Easter Love and Stone Drama! Get up close to the lovely penguins and learn how they build nests out of stones – and why stones are the hottest Easter gift in the penguin world!

13:00: Close to the Sharks – Easter Edition! Meet the sharpest hunters of the sea and learn all about their fascinating eggs – did you know, for example, that some shark eggs look like twisted corkscrews?

14:00: Oceanarium Feeding. The diver serves an Easter buffet for a swarm of fish.

15:00: NEWS: Our new male gray seal is being fed and trained. Experience the feeding of Tulle and our new male gray seal, Nino.

A big and rare news awaits you this Easter! As the only aquarium in Denmark, you will have the opportunity to get up close to a male gray seal when we welcome Nino.

The Kattegatcentre has something truly special in store this Easter! In early April, Nino, an impressive 2.3-meter, 200 kg male gray seal, will move in with the female gray seal, Tulle.

This makes the Kattegatcentre the only aquarium in Denmark where you can get up close to a male gray seal – and even experience a male and female together. Nino is not just large and impressive – he also has a strong personality and a distinctive appearance.

Visitors at the Kattegatcentre can look forward to a rare and fascinating experience when, during the Easter holidays, they will have the chance to be among the very first to see Denmark's largest predator in the Kattegatcentre's expansive 1,100 m² nature facility.
