At the Kattegatcentre you can dive with sharks whether you are a novice or an experienced diver. Professional diving instructors are waiting to give you the experience of a lifetime, and you can be certain that safety is our top priority.

Even experienced divers rarely encounter sharks and a 2.5 m long conger eel, but now is your chance in our 1.5 million litre Oceanarium! Disappear into shoals of garfish, mackerel, discover brill, cod and beluga sturgeon, find a ray on the sandy seabed and give our four species of sharks a high-five!
The dive starts with a briefing, where you will hear all about the different types of fish and about how to act, when diving with the animals. A diving instructor is in the water with you so all you have to do is enjoy the experience!
A dive typically lasts 20 minutes and in total, a trial dive lasts 1½ hours inclusive showering and changing, the briefing and an equipment run through. When you are back on dry land, you will receive a diploma to prove you have dived in the Oceanarium.

If you are already a certified diver, you can also book a dive in the Oceanarium and put an extraordinary dive in your logbook!
The diving instructor does not usually dive with certified divers in the Oceanarium, so a dive requires a minimum of two certified divers. So share this unbelievable experience with a friend.
Remember your diving certificate and your logbook. Before the dive you will have to sign a medical waiver and a “safe dive declaration”.
A trial dive in the Oceanarium doesn’t require a diving certificate. Minimum age: 14 years old. You must be able to carry your own equipment that weighs between 20 and 30 kg.

995 DKK incl. hire of all diving equipment and entrance fee. If you have a year-long ticket to the Kattegatcenter: 795 DKK.

There they are – and there are you! If you are a certified diver, then the BIG SHARK DIVE in the Kattegatcenter’s tropical shark tank is a unique opportunity to meet these amazing animals at close quarters.
It is a breath-taking experience, when the large stingrays and tropical sharks, like the sandbar shark and our impressive sand tiger shark elegantly glide past you – and it is completely safe.
The dive lasts 20 minutes and takes place in the pleasant, warm water of the shark tank.

The dive requires a diving certificate.
You must bring your logbook and your diving certificate.
1,795 DKK incl. equipment and entrance. With a year-long ticket: 1,595 DKK.
Important: As a Big Shark Diver, you must have dived
within the last year and have a minimum of 30 dives in your logbook. If
you do not have it, book as a certified diver with no experience. Then
you will first dive in the Oceanarium, before your dive in the big shark
tank. The price is therefore DKK 2,520 incl. entrance.
