The sea is our backyard – so don’t deprive yourself of a walk outside. The Kattegatcenter continues right into the Kattegat itself. Enjoy the view of the open sea – maybe you will be lucky and spot porpoises and seals, while the gulls try to make themselves heard above the crashing of the waves.
It is also outside that you will find the lagoon and the seal enclosure, where our seals live separated from the sea by only a stone pier.
The children have probably already found our playground with its giant sea creatures and plenty of watery fun, so sit back and feel the breeze in your hair. Afterwards you can eat your lunch out on the rooftop terrace, where the whole family can breathe the sea air!
In the summer, you can catch crabs in our lagoon, learn how to hold it and compete to catch the biggest crab of the day and participate in a crab race!
