At Café Kattegat, you can buy a juicy burger, dishes with gently caught fish, and give the kids a lovely and filling children’s plate. All while enjoying the beautiful view over the Kattegat.
Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or want to avoid gluten or have allergies, there’s something for every taste. Ask our staff if you need more information.
There are high chairs for the youngest family members.
Café Kattegat is open every day from 11 AM to 3 PM (during holidays from 11 AM to 4 PM, winter from 11 AM to 2 PM).

You’ll find Café Hvalhajen at the ground floor, where you can buy organic ice cream, refreshing drinks, a good cup of coffee, or satisfy your small hunger.
Note: Café Hvalhajen is open on selected days.

Of course, you are also very welcome to bring your own picnic basket from home. You can enjoy it indoors at the café tables on the ground floor or in front of Café Kattegat. You can also take your lunch outdoors by the seals or up on the large outdoor rooftop terrace, where the whole family can enjoy fresh sea air from the front row!

Eat for free on your birthday
Annual pass holders at Kattegatcentret can eat for free at Café Kattegat on their birthday or the next opening day if the center is closed that day. Get a delicious children’s plate if it’s your birthday and a portion of fish fillet with fries if you're an adult celebrating your birthday. NB: Remember, you need to show your annual pass along with identification with your birthdate.
